Five dials. One orbit. MILLENIUM is the first ORBIS collection: a 40 mm alloy case on a stainless-steel bracelet, held constant, and five readings of the same orb. The case, the markers, the hands and the bracelet never change. Only the light falling on the dial does.

The maison

ORBIS makes watches for people who look up. Every dial carries the same orb — a sphere drawn in meridians — and every collection gives that sphere a different sky to sit against.

One light source, held at a fixed angle. A slab of cold stone. Every other surface surrendered to shadow. Each MILLENIUM reference was set down in the same place, lit the same way and photographed from the same distance — one session, one grade, five dials. The back of the watch was shot once and once only: it is the same steel on all five, so it is shown as the same photograph.

One case, held constant

A 40 mm alloy case on a stainless-steel bracelet, unchanged across the collection. What changes is the light that falls on the dial.

The orb, drawn from a sphere

Every dial carries the same mark: an orthographic globe, four meridian bands and one equator, laid out by geometry rather than by hand.

A world for each collection

MILLENIUM was shot under First Light: one hard source, a stone floor, everything else given up to shadow. TSUKI takes a light of its own — the moon.

TSUKI — 月, the moon — is the second ORBIS collection. Where MILLENIUM puts the orb under a hard light, TSUKI turns the source away: dials in a Japanese reading, where the time is taken from a single cold source. The collection is announced, not yet available to order.
